General Summary: Accountable for the direct and indirect quality care for patients according to the individualized needs of the patient, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to consistently provide care appropriate to the age of the patient, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Competent in analyzing patient data with an understanding of cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, and spiritual aspects.
Required: OR RN license, BLS certification for healthcare providers. Minimum 1 year L&D/PP experience, NRP, Evidence of ongoing continuing education in fetal monitoring and other OB topics.
Shift: Rotating/Variable shift.
