Production Supervisor: Memphis Contract Packaging

Memphis Contract Packaging, Inc., a manufacturer of cosmetics, toiletries and personal care products located in Somerville, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Production Supervisor.

Production Supervisor Responsibilities Include:

•Lead Team Leaders and Production Staff in a manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives

•Supervise the production process to ensure processes meet safety standards, quality standards, environmental, and OSHA regulations

•Create a continuous improvement environment

•Motivate team members and develop teamwork

•Coordinate activities with the maintenance team to minimize production delays due to equipment issues

•Allocate staff and production resources, while reducing waste and downtime

•Guide, train and evaluate production employees

•Recognize and progressively address bottleneck situations

•Record and report employee attendance

•Ability to work in a team and exhibit excellent communication skills

•Exhibit positive employee relations/team building

Qualifications/Education/Training: Degree or equivalent production supervisory training and 3-5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing plant required. Proven leadership skills and training are a plus. Microsoft Office proficiency and understanding of FDA/OSHA/CGMP standards and regulations preferred.
