The IS Release Manager will interact with internal clients and vendors to work on development and enhancement projects for the internal claims system. They will take projects through the entire SDLC (System Development Lifecycle) while ensuring structure is followed and timelines are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with internal departments to obtain business requirements
- Interacting with vendors to coordinate the development of a package solution for the platform
- Working with the testing team to get the product rolled out
- Managing projects through the entire SDLC
- Adhering to structure and ensuring timeline are met
- Normal work schedule and ONE SATURDAY A MONTH (OVERNIGHT 6PM - 6AM)
Qualifications Qualifications:
- 5 years of project management experience in an IT setting
- 2-3 years of IT experience
- 2+ years of MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Project & Power Point)
Additional assets include:
- PMI certification
- Experience with Release Management
- A background working with claims
- Healthcare industry experience
- SQL experience
- A Bachelor’s degree
- A background leading large projects and multiple projects at once
- Excellent communication skills
