Houston company seeks a Supply Chain Analyst



SUMMARY:

A leading provider of hosted, on demand software and services to the Global Downstream Energy Industry is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist.

DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Material Planner is responsible for the day to day tactical purchasing activities while maintain a very strong and supportive role.

Excellent communication skills and storing commitment to meeting aggressive supplier based delivery: inventory and quality expectations through solid team work are paramount.


Responsible for On-Time Delivery of purchased components/fuel ensuring a balance between support of inventory and cost savings business objectives. Remove material flow constraints though long term sustainable corrective actions and solutions.

Set-up and manage inventory levels to maintain 100% inventory availability

Leverage Lean and Six Sigma business solution methodologies to ensure processes are well defined, documented and provide Best in Class results.


REQUIREMENTS:

At least 5-7 years progress experience in high volume fuel management environment
BS Degree in Materials, Logistics, or Business
Advanced degree preferred
ASPIC or Supply Chain Management Certification
