Electrical Designer

Job Description:
Seeking an Electrical Designer with 5-10 years experience in electric utility substation design (or equivalent) for our office in Freeport, Maine. Position involves complex and technically challenging aspects of electrical utility substation design including protection and control logic, elementary drawings, wiring diagrams and physical layouts. The ideal candidate will have the ability to produce all drawings from rough sketches, notes, vendor drawings and such; procure non-engineered materials (bus, cable, insulators); and provide material take-off lists such as wire, conduit, bus supports, etc. Must be proficient with AutoCAD, Excel and Word and have an understanding of substation equipment and its function.
