LAB HOSPITAL SUPPORT

Job Description:

Responsible for the coordination of activities and day-to-day operations of one or more sections of the Hospital Laboratories that operates 24/7. In addition, the responsibilities for staffing may be at more than one campus.

Job Requirements:

Equivalent to MT (ASCP) certification and 6 years recent laboratory experience including 2 years as Laboratory Supervisor. Specialty certification in specific area of management highly desirable. Knowledge of evaluation methodologies, data analysis, i.e., statistics, QC/proficiency testing, management skill, and related software package. Demonstrated communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of hospital staff.

Manager of satellite labs requires ravel. Equivalent to MT (ascp) certification and 6 years recent laboratory experience including 2 years as laboratory supervisor. Specialty certification in specific area of management highly desirable. Knowledge of evaluation methodologies, data analysis, i.e. statistics, QC, management skills, etc. Demonstrated communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of staff.
