SHIFT

Mon - Fri (8a-5p)

Under the supervision of the Billing Supervisor, the Pre-Biller Quality Assurance position is responsible for quality assurance for the government and commercial produce. To ensure but not limited that the department charges, MSP and ABN forms are complete and correct in a timely fashion. The Pre-Biller is familiar with the UB04 billing format, has knowledge of current government and commercial billing requirements, and able to perform electronic and hard copy billing. The Pre-Biller monitors and reports corrections to the billing manager to ensure accurate and prompt reimbursement of claims.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Two years of college or equivalent work experience preferred
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology
  4. Understanding of CPT, ICD9 and HCPCS codes
