Position Title: Health Promotion RN, #09-90

Department:Health Promotion
Position Description: The Health Promotion RN will be responsible for assisting the Health Promotion Manager to provide screenings, health counseling and education, immunizations and provide services at wellness events. Provide Health Risk Appraisal clinics in various locations throughout Vermont.
Status/Schedule:
Status:Per DiemShift:Night
Shift Time Schedule:Primarily day shift, occasional early evenings.Average Weekly Hours:Variable
Days:No on-call duty required. Weekends required as needed.
Salary Range:Minimum:$20.93Midpoint:Maximum:$24.60
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

Qualifications:
Education:Graduate of an approved RN training program.
Experience:At least one year work experience as an RN.
Special Skills:Must be able to work under pressure and make accurate decisions regarding the care of wellness event participants. Must be able to follow instructions with little explanation. Must have good organizational skills. Must be able to follow standard nursing protocols to make decisions in an emergency situation.
License Required:Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Vermont.
