SC Applications Analyst: The Franklin Career Group

One of our clients has asked our help in finding an Applications Systems Analyst (w/Supply Chain experience) for their Indiana location.

As an analyst in this role, you would be enhancing and supporting business system applications and technologies based on defined business requirements. Utilizing application and technical skills, this individual will provide support for production systems, including troubleshooting and fixes. This role consults with users to identify current operating procedures and clarifies requirements and thus, understands the processes and systems associated with the Supply Chain business process area (Forecasting, Planning, Production Scheduling, Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Receiving).

This role may be required to write documentation to describe or perform program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Also would be participating in the testing process to ensure the systems meet the business requirements. May also participate in implementing enhancements individually or as part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements needed:

• Must have a solid understanding and working knowledge of Supply Chain Mgt. (Forecasting, Planning, Production, Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Receiving).
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related degree.
• Experience (2+ years) in business application development/solutions and testing, including enhancements.
• Knowledge of base technologies, Oracle, DB, Unix, Java, XML, and GIS.
• Sound understanding of SQL (expert), PL/SQL preferred.
