CONTROL BUYER

Ross-Simons, a national multi-channel marketer of fine jewelry, is looking for a Control Buyer to purchase and maintain the optimal amount of merchandise to fill customer demand for specific categories of jewelry being sold through multiple channels.

Responsibilities include forecasting sales for new and repeat items based on history, trends, fashion, and media placement. Place purchase orders with vendors, scheduling delivery to maintain optimal inventory levels. Review and take appropriate action on backordered and/or overstocked items to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Must have a college degree or equivalent, with strong mathematical skills and extensive experience with Microsoft Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience working with vendors/suppliers to procure and manage inventory of finished goods is preferred.
