Job Details:
Certified SIGN LANGUAGE interpreter required. Provides bilingual/bicultural Language interpreting services to patients on the various clinical units of the hospital, including the affiliated Medical Office Buildings. Provides interpreter service for families and for staff members, and consults with hospital staff regarding cultural sensitive language issues. Position requires assistance securing appointments or scheduling tests for various outpatient procedures. Requires completion of state approved "Basic Medical Interpreters course" or willingness to take such course with satisfactory completion.
