Experienced Warehouse Shift Supervisor
International Freight and Mail Company specializing in the distribution of mail and printed matter Worldwide.
We are seeking a Seasoned Mail Warehouse Shift Supervisors with 2 plus years of Supervisory experience in operations. Prefer Direct Mail Experience!!!!
Responsibilities/Expectations:
Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments, and directly supervise the manufacturing hourly operations staff (10-15 people).
Coach and support area of responsibility.
Ensure staff productivity while maintaining prompt movement of freight and mail.
The successful candidate will have the ability to oversee and motivate Operations staff.
Daily communication and coordination with teams, other supervisors and departments.
Direct work assignments in accordance with the job schedule - plans and organizes activities to meet production deadlines.
Monitor housekeeping and correct safety issues.
Enforce policies and procedures and apply disciplinary action as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Some experience as Supervisor in a Warehouse Operation setting in necessary.
Must posses a sense of urgency that will enable him/her to work in a deadline driven environment.
Strong Planning and Organizational Skills.
Ability to work Flexible Hours.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be self starter possessing motivational skills.
The ability to deal with all types of contacts using effective diplomacy and interpersonal skills.
Beneficial to be mechanically inclined and have experience with letter-shop machines (hi-speed printers, labelers, etc.)
Must be Bi-Lingual in Spanish/English.
