The Board of Fire & Police Commissioners of Homewood, IL will hold an examination on 12/19/09 at 7:00 a.m. to establish an eligibility list for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. Starting salary $51,744. Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age & under 35 years of age (the age 35 limitation does not apply to applicants who have prior service with a fire dept); high school degree or GED; U.S. citizen; possess a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) identification card with an issuance date between 12/1/08 and 4/1/10.
