Job Description
Candidate will perform tasks such as sheet metal work. Candidate will recommend, order, receive and process materials and tooling for specific jobs. Work will be performed in a machine shop atmosphere with occasional work outside under all conditions of weather.
Required Skills
Associates Degree and three (3) years experience required or equivalent experience. Must be a certified welder. Must be proficient in the use of lathes and milling machines. Proficient in the use of MIG, Tig, Stick and gas welding equipment. Must have experience in reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics. Must have experience in sheet metal fabrication. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be able to lift and handle materials in a machine shop up to 50 pounds. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the SECRET level.
Required Experience
