Position Summary:


Reporting to the Nurse Manager, with direction from the Registered Nurse, this position is responsible for providing high quality, individualized basic care activities as identified by the RN, using the components of the nursing process.


Position Qualifications:


Minimum Education:

High School graduate or equivalent preferred

Completion of Nursing Assistant course.


Minimum Experience/Skills:

Minimum six months recent experience in an acute care setting preferred

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing


Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:

Current California CNA certification

BLS card

Fire card
