Radiology Department Manager: Etech Hi, Inc.

Job Description

• Establishes long range plans and department policies and procedures within the framework of organizational policy.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities for providing quality services for patients and other customers.
• Develops collaborative working relationships with Medical Staff.
• Establishes performance standards and works to continually improve the quality of service.
• Conducts staff performance reviews and actively recognizes and rewards staff performance.
• Conducts hiring, training and scheduling of staff and is actively involved in daily operations.
• Functions as coach and leader for individuals and teams in facilitating the effective management of the department.
• Meets regulatory and administrative guidelines and supports corporate Mission , Vision, and Values.
• Develops and implements the department budget and operates within it.
• Consistently and effectively applies quality process concepts in carrying out managerial responsibilities.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• DO NOT APPLY unless you have a Bachelor’s Degree in a health-oriented field (nursing, health information, etc.) and at least 3 years experience managing a radiology department. A qualified candidate will need to have overseen the entire day-to-day operation in a radiology setting with direct responsibility for approximately 100 staff
• Candidates who have supervised a smaller staff or whose experience is primarily in a lead technician role would NOT be a match for this position. Qualified individuals will have direct experience managing the staff and all other aspects of operation (including budgeting, staff evaluation, compliance, etc.)
