We are looking for a smart, commitments-driven and highly technical software engineer to enhance and extend our real device based mobile testing and monitoring services. Our products are in use by major brands and household names from the Fortune 500 in nearly every industry sector, so the product functionality is highly visible. You will work closely with other engineers, quality engineers and product managers throughout all stages of a mature product cycle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implementation of new functionality and product enhancements
  • Quickly understand existing code and contribute in a way consistent with prior coding conventions
  • Technical design and architecture of product enhancements and integration points
  • Documentation of technical designs and projects
  • Code reviews and technical assistance to other engineers on as-needed basis
  • Process and fix defects in the software
  • Interface with 3rd party vendors and partners on technical issues

Required Skills

  • Strong analytic ability. Be able to analyze complex technical requirements and convert them to great design solutions.
  • Expertise in building foundation APIs to allow for easy extensions.
  • Skilled with Microsoft .NET, C#, C and other high level languages.
  • Proficiency with SQL (Oracle) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent programming discipline: OOP and design patterns, unit testing, code organization.
  • Superior verbal and written skills, with proven ability to communicate complex ideas and to design and document projects in a clear, concise way.
  • Collaborative and positive attitude.

Required Experience

  • BS/MS in CS/EE with at least 5+ years of experience in design/development of Embedded Systems / Real Time Control Systems, optimizing performance, and interfacing with lower level drivers and VHDL/FPGAs
  • Knowledge of mobile handset reverse engineering environment to make them into automated probes
  • Knowledge of PCI/PCI-Express, Hardware Drivers, video/audio compression and transmission
  • Hands-on programming experience in C/C++/C#/XML in a real time high performance system

Preferred:

  • Experience with horizontally scalable, distributed, high-performance, complex functionality, high-availability systems
  • Experience with XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, and Java Script
  • Experience with multi-release team-based product development cycles
