Job Description
Responsibilities for the Project Engineer include:
1. Proposal generation for chemical treatment programs in the wastewater collection and treatment market.
2. Proposal generation for disinfection programs in the potable water treatment market.
3. Plan and conduct field trials in support of new applications.
4. Design and implementation of chemical feed and storage equipment.
5. Process design and implementation of chemical treatment programs.
6. Design and implementation of process control schemes.
7. Project management including but not limited to submittals, bill of materials, customer management, change control and operations manuals.
8. Close interaction with sales staff to determine scope of work for odor control and disinfection programs.
9. Sales support with potential new customers and training programs.
10. Close interaction with operations staff in support of odor control programs.
11. Position will require some travel – 10-25%
Experience:
1. Computer experience is required with Microsoft Office Products.
2. Process design and PLC experience required.
3. Basic understanding of mechanical components including pumps, mixers, and material handling.
4. AUTO CAD experience is preferred.
5. Environmental experience preferred.
BS from an accredited university in an engineering discipline (i.e. chemical, mechanical, or environmental) with a minimum of 3-years work experience preferably in the water/wastewater industry.
Candidate will be considered with commensurate work experience of 10+ years in the water/wastewater industry.
