World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a Policy Lead for it’s Climate Change program to monitor and analyze legislative and policy proposals related to Climate Change issues that are of specific interest to WWF such as Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD), Energy Efficiency, the Energy Star program, and Climate Information and Preparedness. The policy lead will evaluate proposed bills, and other policy initiatives of the Executive and Legislative branches.

Basic Requirements: A Graduate degree in a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years experience in climate change, energy, environmental policy, economics, or other related field is required. Bachelor’s degree, plus seven years experience in lieu of graduate degree. The ideal candidate will have Climate Change legislative experience, strong communication skills (oral and written), sound relationship building and management skills, a high degree of initiative and flexibility to accommodate deadlines and constantly changing priorities.
