Material Control Manager

Coordinating the incoming worn tires for processing efficiency and finished tires to meet customer needs. Kingman's Aviation tires arereceived from 7 third party operations. This responsibility requires constant contact between customers, third party wheel and brake operations, Sales, and Product Service associates. Goodyear owns tires for many of the commercial airline accounts and is responsible for all tires. Accountability for every tire is important for profitability and meeting customer needs. Worn tires are rebuilt and returned to the same customer.Tires are managed as customer "pools". When rebuilt tires arenot available, new tires are used to maintain pool levels. This position manages the tire pools for each customer at each customer or third partylocation. The position is also responsible for the shipping/receiving operations and purchasing at the Kingman Plant.

1-3 yrs of experience working with vendors/customers. Good communication skills. Inventory management, scheduling, purchasing, SAP, negotiating contracts and working with vendors

College internships or co-ops will also be considered relevant experience.
