RF Engineer
We have an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the WiMax industry as a RF Engineer. This is a full time, direct hire role that will give you ample room for career growth and increasing responsibilities and salary. As the primary RF Engineer for the company, you will be responsible for the architecture & implementation of the company’s 802.16 microwave strategy and take the lead in rolling out a Nationwide WiMax Build Out! This position offers a great compensation package, is located in one of the most prominent areas of the United States, and will allow you the chance to truly change how people live and work.
Responsibilities:
- Identify fiber Points of Presence and evaluate them for microwave feasibility to server surrounding clusters.
- Review/approve subcontractor WiMax system & Microwave Backbone design
- Review & submit microwave path coordination and FCC licensing paperwork.
- Generate & track appropriate RUS paperwork including form 245 & 773.
- Evaluate vendor equipment & setting to optimize performance from a RF & IP perspective.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of RF Engineering experience with companies such as Alvarion, Clearwire, Sprint, etc.
- Hands On experience with RF Planning tools such as Atoll, Mentum, EDX, etc.
- Past experience with WiMax, CDMA, W-CDMA, UMTS, and or GSM network design, deployment, or optimization.
- Experience calculating link capacity & link budgets
- Past experience with Project Management and/or management of subcontractors is highly desired.
