Production Supervisor
A Tier1 automotive supplier of disc brakes, located in Northwest Ohio has an immediate opportunity for an experienced production supervisor. The position will be responsible to provide day to day supervision, training and communication to unionized production employees. This individual will be required to understand and manage fundamental business initiatives such as production, quality, scrap, and downtime to achieve established goals and targets. Will be responsible to initiate and lead problem solving efforts such as accident investigations and issues on the line. Possessing a working knowledge of labor relations as well as effective communication/people skills is important. The position will be responsible to ensure hourly production employees receive adequate training; maintain TS16949/ISO14001 standard requirements; continually drive improvement on measures of performance (OEE, scrap, safety) to meet plant targets and objectives; possess the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and be flexible to work any shift.

To be considered for this position, the ideal qualified candidate will have a minimum of 3 5 years supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. An Associates degree preferred.
