External Description: Providence is calling a Physical Therapy Assistant.
The Physical Therapist Assistant is directly responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment programs in the home settings for patients. Clinical work involved in the planning and provision of therapy under physician's orders. The purpose and primary focus is to assist the client in accomplishing activities of daily living and will work on an interdisciplinary team.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics.
This position is located at Providence SoundHomeCare & Hospice in Olympia, WA. This is an On-call opportunity. This position will be based out of the Olympia office, and will provide services throughout Mason County.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Licenses/Certifications: Current WA State Physical Therapy Assistant licensure; Current CPR certification; Valid Washington state driver's license and have access to daily use of an insured reliable vehicle or an alternate ability to travel to sites as required.
Experience: Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
