The Clinical Associate will provide district based sales support for key market and customer opportunities by providing advanced clinical insight to support brand promotional strategies. Position demonstrates and exercises superior ability and initiative for organizing and managing a promotional business plan to influence support for the brands within the assigned market by conducting a full scope of sales calls that provide customer focused value.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing professional relationships with key customers, medical institutions and healthcare organizations.
  • Exhibits a high level of clinical knowledge and expertise while staying within approved promotional guidelines and demonstrating a mastery of negotiation skills and consultative selling skills to customers, peers and management.
  • Acts as a medical resource to support markets that may need individuals with greater demonstration of clinical knowledge.
  • Partners with Managed Care and other sales colleagues when specific questions are raised by healthcare provider & payors to provide clinical promotional presentations to these customers.

Requirements: Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an interview.

  • Minimum requirements- An advanced degree Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and 2-3 years in clinical practice functioning as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with the demonstrated aptitude to work in a sales environment.
  • Qualified candidates must have a demonstrated full depth and breadth of product and medical knowledge.
