Assembly Technicians


We are looking for self-motivated assemblers to build and possibly test electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for gas delivery systems. This individual should be able to read complex electromechanical diagrams, drawings and schematics. Must have the flexibility to work over-time and weekends with short notice. Perform other duties and complete training as required by Supervisor. The successful candidate must perform work to assure maximum quality and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read pneumatic and electrical schematics
- Some technician coursework a plus
- 2+ years related assembly experience
- Previous experience in a clean room environment preferred
- Experience in helium leak testing, cabling, module and sub-assembly testing, and inspection a plus
- Ability to work over-time and weekends
- Attention to safety, quality and detail a must

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Perform chamber integration on frames by routing cable harnesses, pneumatics and water and gas hoses
- Assembly and testing of water and gas lines
- Installation controllers and power supplies
- Assembly and installation of Local Power Boxes
- Verify all assemblies and sub-assemblies build correctly according to drawing and/or work instructions
- Perform leak checked of vacuum system and fix any leaks found
- Assembly of gas delivery systems including VCR and IGS
- Proactive in resolving assembly discrepancies noted in drawings and/or work instructions
- Good communication skills

Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/Hour
Location: Hayward, CA
These are temporary contract positions.
