Comcast West Division Human Resources Manage a centralized shared services team that provides efficient, employee-friendly service to 7000+ employees across the region by leading the HR Administrative Services function including guidance and direction to staff members, ensuring the highest level of customer support, optimization of systems, management, and administration of the HRIS platform. Assists in the design, implementation and communication of business processes to clients as well as partnering with HR colleagues on HRIS related issues and processes. Lead and facilitate the development of local HR transactional workflow processes within a centralized functional group. Work with division and corporate HR shared service professionals to drive efficient and timely execution of all HR transactional activities. Manage the administration of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS). Establish procedures required to standardize and record personnel transactions and ensure efficient process workflows in an accurate and timely manner. Interpret HR policies and procedures and translate into HRIS process procedures. Serve as the subject matter expert on the HCM system and partner with key stakeholders to recommend and implement the necessary functional modifications and enhancements to human resources and payroll systems, as appropriate, based on needs analysis. Partner with teams necessary to develop, implement gap systems and processes to accommodate Regional business needs that are not primary functionality in enterprise wide systems Actively participate as a key member of the HR/PR system modifications and replacement team. Ensure smooth upgrades which would include operational excellence/functionality of the resulting systems (has the ability to meet the needs of the department and the organization today and into the future), integrity of all data transfers and technical ability of end users. Oversees the new employee orientation process Supervise HR Administrative Services staff ensuring accurate and timely input and processing of employment data in the HRIS system as well as excellence in customer service to all clients. Ensure that the needs of clients requesting employee information are met (information requirements and formats are defined, complexity of request is evaluated, determination made how to best satisfy request, and relevant reports developed). Recommend, design, compile, generate and distribute routine or special request reports and analyses. Act as HR business system consultant and advisor to the organization, including functional users, occasional users and other work management teams. Handles complex problems and interface with Corporate ESC team to resolve problems and implement changes to HRIS system. Serve as a communication link on HR system design and operation with all users including human resources personnel, department management and key system users. Continually survey HRD operations for internal process improvements that will increase efficiency and effectiveness and reduce costs, i.e. automation, streamlining or eliminating processes. Assist human resources managers in sustaining efficient value-added processes. Conduct Human Resource data modeling, data analysis and interpretation of trends, as needed. Perform periodic audits of HRMS and timekeeping data to ensure system integrity and credibility. Participate in task teams, special projects and/or committee's such as the Division HCM team. Provides user feedback to Division and CHQ to influence future system enhancements. Partner with business, regional HR team and Divisional HRIS team on resolution of all system issues. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance. Required Skills: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in related human resources discipline or equivalent education, HR certifications and work experience. Demonstrated experience in leading a team diverse team of 10 or more HR administrative professionals - setting vision, strategy, tactics, and delivery. Exceptional organizational leadership skills and customer service orientation Demonstrated consultative skills in a large corporate environment. Comprehensive HR subject matter expertise in the areas of HR administration, total rewards, benefits communications, HRIS, and shared service delivery, Demonstrated capabilities in developing and leveraging HR metrics to guide HR effectiveness. Demonstrated project management and implementation skills. Demonstrated process improvement skills Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge and proficiency of PC skills, Excel necessary. Knowledge of Federal & State employee records requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and experience in a SAP-HR systems environment highly desirable Ten or more years of HR experience.
