Quality Engineer


COMPANY INFORMATION:

IFE North America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Knorr Brake Holding Corporation which, in turn, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Knorr Bremse A.G. IFE N.A. is located in Westminster Maryland and its primary function is sales and marketing, project management, contract management and customer service for the U.S. transit markets purchase and utilization of IFE AG's products. The main product lines of IFE AG are automatic door systems for the transit industry and industrial material handling equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a Quality Management system for material review, quality improvement, quality audits and customer source inspection in order to sustain a pro-active quality system.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 year degree, BSME or BSEE preferred.
  • 2-5 years experience in Quality Engineering function
  • Member of ASQ

  • Certification as Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or Quality Auditor.
