Job Description

Reporting to a Process Engineer, the Engineering Intern will be responsible for assisting with implementation of and trouble shooting manufacturing processes. Internships are 6 months in length running from January to mid-summer and mid-summer to December.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assist with writing and reviewing batch records
- Participate on process teams in various capacities
- Supporting engineers and chemists on process improvements and development work as needed
- Assist with implementation of processes for manufacturing APIs and bulk intermediates
- Entering data into computer based programs
- Adhere to the regulatory systems as relates to manufacturing operations in a pharmaceutical environment (i.e. cGMP compliance, training)

Job Qualifications

- Working toward degree in Chemical Engineering
- Junior or senior level of college preferred
- GMP experience or knowledge is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in windows based computer environment including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
