Regional LP Director Opportunity at the Wet Seal, Inc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Directly responsible for managing all aspects of LP program, including but not limited to, execution of Red Flag Store Program, training of District Directors and Store Managers and working with LP Coordinator to resolve internal issues

· Territory will include 70 stores in Southern California, Arizona , Nevada , Colorado , Utah , and Hawaii . Based out of Orange County preferred.

· Develop Loss Prevention strategy for entire area, and ensure shortage reduction and control through proper communication on key shortage issues, corrective action, investigating and resolving internal theft

· Work independently and establish effective business partnerships to achieve desired goals

· Travel stores weekly to maintain strong field presence. Evaluate opportunities, develop plan and ensure follow-through

· Indirectly supervise District Directors and Store Managers and provide direction in achieving shortage reduction goals

· Ensure compliance for established expense budget

· Develop strategies for addressing shortage concerns across entire area of responsibility. Implement and evaluate programs

· Work with LP Director to develop strategies on operational controls and shortage reduction initiatives

· Travel to Corporate office for participation on specific committees and conferences and to attend meetings

· Develop presentations for division-wide use

· Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of 5 years experience in multi-unit retail loss prevention

· Shortage data analysis

· Knowledge of retail finance/inventory management

· Computer literate with strong knowledge of Excel and Word

· Superior leadership skills

· Strong presentation skills

· Excellent time management skills

· Successful interview/interrogation background

· Ability to travel on a weekly basis – minimum 50% overnight travel

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
