Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

The Sterile Processing Tech position is accountable for the efficient and cost effective operation of all routine Central Sterilization functions on designated shift.

  • Exchanges and inventories supply carts, cabinets, shelves, supply drawers and procedure carts for all departments and facilities.
  • Picks up, cleans, and processes soiled equipment, supplies, trays and instruments.
  • Quality assurance testing performed on all products.
  • Assembles, wraps, sterilizes instruments and trays.
  • Documents operation of steam autoclave, ETO sterilizer and aerator.
  • Assists the Supervisor, Central Sterilization with assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 0-12 months related experience
  • Experience with Meditech

Previous Sterile Processing experience and certification is preferred.
