Instructor-Criminal Justice Program
The Institute of Technology is seeking part-time instructors for the Criminology and Emergency Response Management Associate of Applied Science Degree program. Applicants must have at least five years experience in the field of law enforcement, and/or as a firefighter. Prior teaching experience as an educator is desired, and a bachelors degree or higher in a related field is preferred. The applicant should have a strong classroom presence, be a dynamic leader, and be able to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.
Instructors will be needed to teach the following disciplines:
1) Criminology 2) Emergency Management/Incident Command System (ICS) 3) Defensive Tactics Instructor 4) Correctional Officer (according to STC guidelines) 5) Certified Range Master
More than one discipline is highly desirable in the aforementioned fields.
Salary will be dependent upon experience.
