Role: The Investment Specialist is responsible for outbound phone sales activities to current clients to offer financial solutions. Focus of effort is on providing investors with a broad range of brokerage, mutual fund, and consumer financial products and services on an integrated basis. Additionally, the Investment Specialist will be responsible for meeting individual objectives that help us meet and beat team goals and growing our market share and increasing TD AMERITRADE brand awareness. Responsibilities: Must be an outstanding communicator and possess the ability to present new products and services to clients in a professional manner while emphasizing the features and benefits Responsible for assisting in the implementation of new business development and sales programs and presenting complex financial solutions in a way that enables clients to make informed investment decisions. Must be self-motivated with the ability cultivate leads into actual business and cross sell. Must have the ability to plan, organize, prioritize and implement successful sales activities and track sales results while maintaining adherence to our core values. Must always act with customers needs in mind and establish and maintain effective and constructive relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect. Must be able to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, use time effectively and efficiently, relate well to all kinds of people, build appropriate rapport, use diplomacy and tact, learn quickly and be open to change. Experience: Requirements: The candidate should enjoy the challenge of unfamiliar tasks, enjoy working hard, be action oriented and energetic, willing to seize opportunities when they arise and possess strong communication skills. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent Must have Series 7 license and Series 66, or must be able to obtain them within 5 weeks of hire. 3 - 5 years of proactive, successful sales experience preferably in financial services TRAVEL:5 % travel in this position. Note: The Associate may be requested to perform additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
