Job Description
Airgas Mid South, Inc., the nation's leading distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related products is currently seeking a Part-Time Cylinder Cleaner to join our team in Tulsa, OK.
Cleans Cylinders by removing Labels and Markings by Hand with or without a Cylinder Cleaning Machine and performs a Preliminary Cylinder Examination.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
• Scrape the Exterior of Cylinders with a Scrapping Knife to remove Labels and Markings.
• Examine the Exterior of the Cylinder for Surface Defects such as Dents, Cracks and Burns and deciphers whether or not the cylinder should be quarantined for further inspection.
• Operate a Cylinder Cleaning Machine to produce quality cylinder.
• Manually roll cylinders onto platform

LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

• While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is required to spend up to 8 hours standing, along with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motion.
