Providence Mt. Carmel Hospital is calling Acute Care Manager - RN
Position Specifics
This is a full time, day shift position. Under the supervision of the VP of Patient Care Services, the manager is accountable for directing quality patient care for the Acute Care department in a cost-effective manner, complying with patient care standards and job-specific performance standards through observation of clinical practice and implementation of quality assurance. Functions as a resource person with primary responsibility for staff's performance and development.
Mount Carmel Hospital is a Critical Access hospital serving a three county area in Northeast Washington . Mount Carmel Hospital is a progressive, full service hospital offering advanced medical and surgical care as well as specialty support and outpatient services.
Colville is a beautiful 4 season area located about 65 miles north of Spokane . This is a wonderful area to raise a family or consider retiring in. Boating- skiing- camping- hiking and golfing!
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN or BA in Health Sciences required, business education helpful.
Licensure/Certification:
· Currently RN license in the State of Washington .
· Certification in clinical specialty encouraged
· ACLS Certification or actively in the process of enrollment and certification
Experience:
· One to two years of nursing management experience preferred.
· Experience specific to assigned clinical area is preferable.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities and good oral and written communication skills
· Must be able to demonstrate operational knowledge of all department specific equipment.
· Good understanding of all current unit-specific health practices.
Base Rate: $33.60/hr plus experience credit
