Assistant Registrar

The University of Houston (UH) is currently seeking an Assistant Registrar to oversee the scheduling and registration operations for the Office of Registration & Academic Records.

Additional duties include participating in the planning, direction and coordination of departmental operations; serving as liaison between colleges, Academic Program Management, Facilities Planning and Construction, and Institutional Reporting offices on issues relating to class schedule development and maintenance of the inventory of classrooms; overseeing and directing the creation and maintenance of the schedule of classes, inventory of general purpose classrooms, and ad hoc scheduling of classrooms; analyzing classroom utilization reports to increase overall efficiency and comply with state mandated utilization requirements; coordinating and supervising the scheduling, generation, and electronic distribution of reports related to classroom utilization efficiency; maintaining academic calendars and performing other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.

Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
