ACS is currently seeking a Client Executive to become a part of our rapidly growing Transportation Solutions Group Sales Team (TSG). The ACS Transportation Solutions Group, headquartered in Germantown, Maryland is the largest provider of transportation services to governments worldwide. We help transportation agencies address their unique challenges with revenue collection and regulation compliance services. From fare collection to toll solutions and from back-office processing to infrastructure installation, we provide systems and services that help governments solve their transportation problems. Due to the commonality of transportation problems around the world, including traffic management and congestion and the desire to improve efficiency of fare collections systems, our TSG business serves an international client base.
The Client Executive serves as a trusted advisor and partner within the Transportation Marketplace. The Client Executive will establish, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers at all levels to drive business and exceed established growth goals. The Client Executive will achieve consistent, predictable quarterly revenue results and be the single point of contact/relationship manager for assigned territory. The Client Executive will be responsible for a pipeline quota as well as a closed business quota. The Client Executive will manage the “political process” in the assigned account/territory, working with ACS consultants and accounts.
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Provide overall client development leadership and political strategy for ACS activities in Public Sector
• Drives growth in assigned accounts as well as new business for Transportation Solutions Group
• Assists the Lines of Business in pipeline management and forecasting
• Works directly with the leadership of other ACS organizations
• Responsible for community and political involvement, ensures that ACS is doing the “right things” to be viewed as a good corporate partner to the Transportation account and the local community
• Work with the appropriate Lines of Business in qualifying opportunities, establishing effective solutions and executing effective win strategies
• Plans and facilitates and/or conducts complex negotiations for assigned accounts
• Coordinates governmental relations activities and serves as primary ACS local resource for contact with political leadership.
• Develops and maintains executive-level relationships.
• Works directly with corporate Executive Sponsor for account/state/region
Requirements:
• Must have high level understanding of political, operational, sales, new and existing business activities in transportation/state/region
• Must have a strong sales drive with ability to close major wins
• Strong understanding of state and municipal government space, key players, competitors, and relationships to government leaders
• Cultivate and own personal relationships with executive government leadership (Governor's office, cabinet members, chief of staff)
• Strong understanding of high-level detailed contracts.
• BA/BS degree required; Masters preferred
