Warehouse Supervisor: Anixter Inc.

We have an opportunity for a Shipping Supervisor at our 100,000-sf warehouse in Anaheim , CA . The successful candidate will assist the management team in the day-to-day operation of our very busy warehouse. This includes:

· Supervising picking, consolidations/aggregations, small parcel packaging, LTL palletizing and wire/cable cutting operations

· Providing direction in the areas of safety, quality, and general warehouse processes and procedures

· Training employees on daily tasks and coaching them to develop skill and knowledge in their jobs

· Recording daily statistics of individual productivity and divisional production effort

· Ensuring a clean, well-organized, and safe warehouse environment that meets all internal audit and OSHA standards

We are looking for someone with current experience leading a fast-paced warehouse shipping operation. Candidates must have the communication skills to provide a positive and challenging work environment to hourly employees and work closely with salespeople and customers. Candidates must also be experienced with the use of PC/mainframe computer systems. The hours for this position will be 1-10pm M-F.
