We seek an Account Manager for our Credit Union Group, working in the Midwest part of the US. This is a key role within our sales organization -- in it, you will manage and maintain our existing clients, improve relationships between Open Solutions and our existing clients, and meet client-satisfaction requirements considering the best interests of the corporation as well as the client. Our Credit Union Account Managers actively support Open Solutions' policy and best practices in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.

As an Open Solutions Credit Union Account Manager, you will:

  • Meet or exceed annual assigned sales target by cross-selling add-on products, complementary products, professional services, consulting services and third-party opportunities
  • Cement core agreement renewals and extend the terms of existing agreements as well as assist sales execs in promoting migration opportunities to existing legacy core clients
  • Take Account-planning ownership of assigned Accounts
  • Establish C-level relationships within existing client base
  • Establish and maintain existing Account relationships by visiting assigned clients on a regular basis to evaluate their levels of satisfaction with Open Solutions' products and services
  • Be a constant source of communications between the client and the corporation.
  • Be the single source of client ownership
  • Establish and maintain a good working rapport with all Open Solutions staff
  • Maintain good communications across all lines with Open Solutions' businesses and subsidiaries
  • Use all resources within Open Solutions to quickly progress and resolve any high-priority client issues
  • Offer proactive feedback to Open Solutions management on any strategic opportunities or issues affecting product enhancements or developments
  • Participate with Open Solutions product management in enhancement reviews of products and services
  • Perform other Account management related tasks as assigned
  • Participate in Account management/client services turnover meetings.

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • five-plus years of banking experience
  • two-plus years of successful sales experience
  • strong customer advocacy skills with client satisfaction being a 'job one' philosophy
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong writing skills, including the ability to develop proposals and business plans
  • strong negotiation skills and the ability to identify positive and negative opportunities
  • a self-starting and independent approach to work, but also a team player mentality
  • the ability to work remotely with a strong work ethic, and be able to travel 50% of the time.
