Sales and Marketing Support Position



SALES OPERATIONS ANALYST

SUMMARY

Sales and Marketing Support Position reporting to CAI Operations responsible for using both analytical tools and communications to forecast sell in and sell through for a portfolio of national accounts. In addition the position will monitor and support CAI Policies and Procedures for MDF, Pricing, Returns, Sample Administration, Special packaging and Displays and other duties as may be assigned by CAI management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sales Forecasting. In conjunction with Sales Personnel assigned to a customer account, the analyst will provide a customer purchase forecast, which will be utilized during the DP Process as well as Headquarters Sales Forecasting (Sales Plan) reporting.

Sell Thru Reporting. The Sales Operations Analyst will provide and monitor Casio Product Sell Through at their assigned Customer Accounts. The reporting of Customer Sell Through will be provided to the applicable Product Marketing dept.

MDF Monitoring. The Sales Operations Analyst will process and monitor Market Development Funds for their assigned portfolio of accounts to ensure that all documentation is completed and funding is within the approved budget.

Special Packaging and Displays. The Sales Operations Analyst will participate in the communication of customer requests for both special packaging and displays to the applicable parties including Product Marketing, Marketing Communications and Distribution. They will also in conjunction with Product Marketing, monitor expenditures.

Product Returns. The Sales Operations Analyst will actively monitor all customer product returns. In conjunction with headquarters (Reverse Logistics Order Mgmt ), they will monitor request for return, percentage of return against gross sales, and meet with the applicable sales person and customer in an effort to reduce returns.

Product Samples for Customer Accounts and Sales Personnel. The Sales Operations Analyst will actively participate in the processing and monitoring of Product Sample requests from both Customer and Sales Personnel. They will ensure that all return requests are authorized in accordance with CAI Policies and Procedures.

Customer Pricing. The Sales Operations Analyst will acquire the Standard Pricing lists and marketing programs (if applicable) for each customer. They will also assist the sales person in processing and monitoring “Meet Competition” Forms and ensure adherence to company policy

This is a non-exempt position, requiring a 4 year degree with strong experience in Retail Link. In addition, strong attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy and forecasting experience is required.
