The need for security cleared professionals is at an all time high. Our Clients - nationally acclaimed leaders in software and systems engineering solutions serving the government community, are actively seeking security cleared Embedded Software Engineering professionals to fill a growing number of positions available from coast to coast.
Successful candidates will develop embedded software systems in C/C++. Ideal candidates will write unit test documents and perform unit testing. Candidates should have experience developing software in the full software lifecycle. A minimum of five years of software/system development work experience in the following areas: Software System Design, Software System Development, Software System Integration, Software System Testing.
Job Requirements
• C++ development experience (2-20+ years) (would like a mix across teams)
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and/or Analysis (OO, OOD, OOA, OOAD)
At least two of the following is required (will need to cover all areas with team in aggregate):
• Experience with signal processing algorithm implementation
• Experience with GUI development, including graphical display of signal related data
• Experience developing real time or near real time processing/computing
• Experience developing and debugging multi-threaded applications
• Linux OS development experience
In addition to the requirements above, individuals shall have at least five years of work experience in the following areas:
• Developing embedded software systems in C or C++
• Developing embedded software systems in one or more of the following operating system environments: UNIX or Windows
• Reverse engineering and analysis of software
• Systems engineering of large scale embedded systems
Desired Skills:
• Masters Degree
• Experience with embedded development
• Familiarity with industry standard communications/telecommunications protocols
• Familiarity with interaction and/or control of hardware
• Ability to work and communicate well in a team environment
Education: Positions require a bachelor’s degree.
