Job Description:
The Account Executive executes the account plans for the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business involved in the Salt Service organization. Execute the business plan for accounts, driving initiatives that result in Morton sales and margin growth throughout the channel
Conduct HQ calls for assigned key accounts within territory.
Call on DSD customers to generate orders, secure displays, and sell in promotions.
Generate orders based on historical patterns for smaller customers in geography.
Support prospecting efforts within territory as directed by manager.
Maintain internal customers files (e.g.through timely call-notes submission and related customer data tracking) and provide complete communication to the Managers regarding findings in accounts.
Provide account-level data for post promotion analysis and coordinate with internal and external groups as needed.
Interface with Segment Manager, Customer Service, Production and other functions as needed.
Other duties as requested.
Requirements:
Requires travel approximately 50% within territory of: Minnesota, Ohio, Northern Iowa and Western Wisconsin.
Strong organization, communication, presentation, and time management skills
Strong selling skills.
Minimum of 2 years of consumer products sales experience.
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business is required.
