Job Details:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • BLS Certification Required
    • 2 years hospital experience required.
    • Customer service skills are required.
    • Medical Terminology knowledge
    • Strong analytical, written and verbal skills.

    • Assists professional nursing personnel by providing basic nursing care to patients, under direct supervision. Demonstrates quality customer service and is sensitive to the diverse and unique needs of patients based on sex, age, race, and culture.

      • Performs basic nursing procedures under supervision after competency is determined.
      • Provides personal care and assists with activities of daily living.
      • Observes patients/families and informs appropriate personnel of significant observations. Provides emotional support to patients/families.
      • Demonstrates organizational and prioritizing skills in meeting patient needs, preparation charts, admission procedures, pre- and post-op care, and documentation.
      • Participates as a team member, in development and implementation of care.
      • Maintains communication with patients/families. Answers and responds to patient calls.
      • Greets all persons, answers inquiries, directs and assists them, takes and relays messages, keeping staff updated.
      • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
      • Utilizes supplies, equipment and resources in a cost effective manner.
      • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
