Job Summary:

Responsible for all basic administration of incoming and outgoing mail.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Delivery of mail, packages, copy products and stationary to assigned group/location per daily schedule. Ensure that all packages received/delivered are shipped and/or delivered same day, or alternatively consignee with be advised of next day delivery.
  • Check daily and replenish, if necessary, all mail and postage supplies.
  • Audit delivered items with delivery invoices. Approve or reject deliveries based on inspections.
  • Ensure all shipped packages are adequately protected against damage.
  • Process shipment request with vendor, advising package owner of arrangements.
  • Apply appropriate postage amounts and required identification to outgoing mail and
  • packages.

Other Job Functions:

  • Availability for flexible hours if needed. Including evening and weekend hours.
  • Accept changes requested by management in scope of responsibility according to changes in business needs.

Skills, Education And Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience strongly preferred.
  • General working knowledge of business environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organizational/follow-up skills.
