Facility: Bayside Healthcare Center is a 60-bed post acute care facility located in Virginia Beach , Virginia , with an opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant. This beautiful facility meets the needs of both long term and short term patients, but is known as a rehab center in the community due to its high post-acute census and high rate of patients returning to home. Small enough to be friendly, but busy with a high rehab census, this facility offers associates a fast-paced and interesting case load.
Opportunity: Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant with a 2 year degree and licensed in Virginia, to join our rehab team in providing post-acute rehabilitation to a diverse population: geriatric as well as younger managed care patients. We promote reasonable productivity goals to allow you to provide high quality of care and to put the patients´ needs first. Job Description: Responsible for implementing treatment programs established by the Physical Therapist in accordance with all state, federal and JCAHO regulations. Collaborates with facility staff to promote the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well being for the residents.
