***Must apply online at www.dwg.catsone.com/careers*** JOB INFORMATION: TITLE: Program Manager FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Exempt DEPARTMENT: Operations EEO Code: 47-1001 REPORTS TO: Vice President DATE PREPARED: 6/16/2009 JOB PURPOSE: The position of Program Manager is to manage all operations in designated areas. This position assists the company in strategic planning and supporting company-wide marketing efforts when and where needed. Be responsible for providing overall Field Contract administration and coordination on a mega program or mega project of a diverse and complex nature. Supervises assigned staff to verify that the Contractors activities are monitored and controlled in accordance with design specifications and contractual requirements. Primary on-site liaison between Client, Company Personnel and Contractor for resolution of project issues. Implement on-site procedures to assist staff in performing their work. JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to): -Oversee, direct, hire, discipline and ensure the performance of all personnel. -Ensure the successful performance on each project. -It is expected that: -Designated operation under your control will be profitable. -Customers will hold DWG in high regard and rate DWG’s performance in the above-average to excellent range. We expect outstanding customer relations. -Employees will be valued and respected. You will have the right people in the right positions. They will enjoy working for DWG and be motivated to achieve corporate and project objectives. -You and your employees will maintain honest and ethical business practices. -Ensure job-site safety, quality control, and high level workmanship. -Maintain a cohesive team. Cross-utilize DWG resources to help keep OH reasonable and to tap personnel experience wherever it may be. -Prepare and maintain a strategic plan that will enable your team to achieve corporate objectives. -Provide training for staff where appropriate to strengthen personnel weaknesses. -Organize and attend meetings when necessary and appropriate. -Traveling will be required, estimated at ten days per month. Could be more or less depending on the need. -Prepare and maintain budgets and performance reports for yourself and owners. -All other typical responsibilities related to the management and oversight of construction operations. -All other tasks as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: -BBA / BS Degree or equivalent experience. MS / MA Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: -Background in design build construction required. -Construction Management and Employee Management experience required. -Background in estimating, and computer estimating required. -Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field plus 10 years of relevant experience. -Professional Engineer (PE) License required. -Excellent verbal/written communications skill and ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organization. -General tradesman work including: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. TECHNICAL SKILLS: -ACAD drafting experience required. -Proficient with MS Office -MS Project or equivalent experience desired WORKING CONDITIONS: -The company will provide you with: -Contractual Authority -Authority to hire, organizes, structure and discipline personnel.
