Property Manager of 238 unit apartment complex.
To manage the operations and performance of the community to maintain high occupancy levels, drive revenue, control expenses and meet or exceed the owner’s expectations.
Supervision & Authority: Complies with established Operating Policies and Procedures.
Specific Responsibilities:
Performance Standards: The effectiveness of the Resident Manager will be measured by the achievement of the above mentioned responsibilities. Reporting Relationship: Under the general supervision and direction of the Regional Manager, the Property Manager complies with established Operating Policies and Procedures. Position Requirements: Experience: 5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education: Prefer 2-4 years college and/or certification in trade related field. Basic Expectations: 1. Professional. 2. Punctual, dependable and reliable. 3. Possession of strong organizational skills. 4. Basic Knowledge of accounting principles. 5. Proficiency with Computer - Intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills. 6. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. 7. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing. 8. Ability to work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow team members. 9. Must possess strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. 10. Capability to work in fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands in a professional manner. Desirable qualifications: 1. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. 2. High attention to detail. 3. Strong organization skills. 4. Experience with AMSI software 5.
