JOB DESCRIPTION:
 THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NC

Performs and evaluates precisely and accurately a variety of routine and/or complex tests on clinical specimens. Utilizes accepted quality control techniques with the aid of automated, semi automated, and/or manual methodologies. Performs diagnostic procedures in other laboratory sections and venipunctures as needed. Independent judgement, professional education, and certification are required.

Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Hematology, Processing, Microbiology. Graduate of an accredited program. Related Bachelors Degree AND Certification as a medical technologist by ASCP or equivalent agency.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Medium Work - Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including the human body, weighing 21 to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or 11 to 20 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Internal Posting Date; 10/30/09-11/4/09

WORK SCHEDULE:
 Full time 2p -11:30 Monday - Friday, every 4th weekend, rotating holidays
