SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR: Magnum Communications

Magnum Communications, the leading provider of credit management software, is searching for a reliable and hardworking SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.

Our ideal candidate has:

Ø At least 2 years experience working in Windows Server Operating Systems and Novell environments

Ø Experience with Windows server monitoring (both stand alone and cluster)

Ø Good working knowledge of network IP structure

Ø Knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL and Oracle)

Ø Knowledge of monitoring tools such as HP MONITOR, SITE SCOPE, BAC, etc.

Ø Effective problem solving skills

Ø Ability to work effectively with little supervision

Ø A proven track record of reliability

The position has rotating 8-hour shifts (7 days/wk) starting at 10:00 am – 1:15 am.

The major responsibilities include:

Ø Monitor, install, configure, and maintain the environments, services and networks

Ø Manage the users activation and qualification

Ø Problem identification and resolution
