Performing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology

procedures according to the Departmental Policies and Procedure Manual. Performing age specific related patient care functions. Performing and documenting daily Quality Control, area surveys, and wipe test, adhering to all State regulations. Performing and processing Nuclear Medicine examinations. Assisting in the scheduling and coordinating of Nuclear Medicine procedures. Communicating exam results to the appropriate physician or personnel.

Bachelor of Science Nuclear Medicine or School of Radiologic Technology (no less than two-year program) that is approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Has completed a Nuclear Medicine technical course of no less than twelve months' duration that is approved by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist. Shall be a member in good standing with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) A.R.R.T. (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.). Possesses a thorough knowledge of Radiation Safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations. Additional Information

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
