Electronics Technician 1
Minimum Requirements :
Education: Vocational/technical training beyond high school and some job-related experience or equivalent. Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of word processing and integrated software application; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work as required. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.


Work Experience Field: Must have direct hands on experience working on RESET, refurbishing or modifications on military missile systems. Must be familiar with TOW, Bradley, Javelin, etc... missile systems.

Job Description :
Essential Job Functions: Under supervision, performs non-routine tasks or tests of some complexity and variety within, but not necessarily limited to RESET of TOW, IBAS, ITAS or other missile systems. May direct the work of lower level Technicians on more complex assignments.

Assist with the installation, fabrication, modification and operation of test equipment used on special projects.
2. Operate a variety of computer systems to assist in the collection and compilation of data.
3. Perform a wide variety of duties in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computers and peripheral equipment.
4. Test electronic circuits and components to locate and replace defective components, P.C. boards, using appropriate electronic test equipment and hand tools.
5. Maintain and repair PC hardware and auxiliary hardware.
6. Maintain parts inventory, technical documentation and record of repairs.
7. Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of repair of equipment.
8. Provide miscellaneous technical and non-technical support as required or directed

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
